I first downloaded the app on iPhone 3s I believe. Then downloaded the reciters, which I had to do every time I got a new phone. The only advice I can give you is it to use a stable high speed wifi.
As for the app, its great and have seen it get better over the years.
May Allah reward them for all of their efforts.
